La Mariposa is perched on an elevated sea side bluff surrounded by the tropical rainforests of Puerto Quepos, Costa Rica. La Mariposa's four story Spanish mansion and cottages overlook the surrounding Manuel Antonio National Park and its necklace cays jutting against the Pacific Ocean. La Mariposa's front desk books eco tour and fishing expeditions through certified guides and charters. Complimentary shuttle service escorts guests to and from white sandy beaches. The front lawn at La Mariposa rolls with immaculate grasses, palm trees and topiary gardens. Balconies with Spanish tile encircle each floor of the mansion, accented by wrought iron rails and circular staircase descending to the pool deck. In addition to the main pool, La Marisopa boasts a cliff side illusion pool with swim up bar. Its waters seemingly spill over the horizon and into the sunset. The restaurant, La Papillon, offers open air fine dining on a Spanish veranda, serving all meals daily.
