Location. DGI Byens Hotel is located in the centre of the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. It lies 700 metres from the Town Square, and one kilometre from the pedestrianised shopping street, Str�get.
Hotel Features. This modern three storey hotel features interiors decorated in a minimalist Scandinavian style. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange, and the use of a safe deposit box. The public areas have complimentary Internet access, and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby.
Restaurant Vestauranten serves regional specialities and international dishes in a contemporary setting.
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a diving pool, and a water playground. Other sporting opportunities include fencing and gymnastics, and Copier (a Brazilian martial art) sessions are available, as well as Pilates and yoga. There is a 40 lane shooting range for handguns and rifles, and ten ten pin bowling lanes. Spa treatments include aromatherapy, mud packs, facials and body massages.
Guestrooms. The 104 guestrooms have light contemporary decor and modern furnishings including desks. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, complimentary Internet access, and tea and coffee facilities. Other standard amenities include hair dryers and telephones.
Expert Tip. Visit the Carlsberg Brewery Visitors' Centre, two kilometres from the hotel, for a sample of what the makers claim is probably the best lager in the world.

From Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH):
Distance to DGI Byens Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Direct trains run between Terminal 3's station and Copenhagen central station every 10 minutes. There are regular trains to other locations in Denmark and Sweden. Taxis wait in front of Terminals 1 and 3 and cost around 160 200 DKK to the city centre. This price includes taxes and tips, and credit cards can be used. Bus numbers 9, 30, 500S and 250S run between the airport and the city centre (and beyond) until midnight every day. The number 96N runs throughout the night. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Buses, an underground metro, trains, and water buses provide excellent transportation throughout the city. One ticket can be used for all types of public transport. Bicycles are a popular way to explore Copenhagen, and there are a number of cycle paths in the city.
