The Hotel Medicis, situated in the musician's quarter of Nice, 500 meters from shopping streets and the main railway station, is a traditional French town hotel built in 1926. The 36 air conditioned and soundproofed guest rooms are decorated simply in warm colors with bright patterned fabrics, and furnished with polished oak wood furniture. Each room offers satellite television, a safe deposit box and a hairdryer, as well as a balcony in some rooms. Superior rooms also include a sofabed.
Although the Medicis has no restaurant, there are several in the surrounding area, including Bacchus restaurant next door, owned by the same proprietor. Breakfast is available, however, and is served in the breakfast room.
The Hotel Medicis, Nice, also offers services including babysitting, dry cleaning and secretarial services, and high speed Internet access. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and can arrange airport transfers, a limo service or medical services. The beach and famous Promenade des Anglais are 500 meters away, and Place Massena and the Flower Market within a kilometer. Nice C�te d'Azur Airport is 12 kilometers away and can be reached using the shuttle bus to the railway station.

Cross over Boulevard Victor Hugo, where the road becomes Rue Gounod, and turn (second) left onto Rue Rossini. Turn left onto Avenue Georges Cl�menceau, and Rue H�rold is second on your left.
