Location. The Hotel am Stadtgarten is located in Freiburg, Germany, just 150 metres from the pedestrian zone in which Freiburg Cathedral and medieval buildings can be enjoyed. The closest train station is Hauptbahnhof, two kilometres from Hotel am Stadtgarten.
Hotel Features. The hotel has a contemporary design in and is set in central Freiburg. From Basel Mulhouse Freiburg Airport (BSL):
Distance to Hotel am Stadtgarten is 60 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available at the airport and cost around 100 EUR. Trains from the airport go to Freiburg Station, three kilometres from the hotel. The hotel can arrange airport transfers for a fee. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Freiburg's historic sites are all within one kilometre of the hotel. Bikes can be rented from Hotel am Stadtgarten for 9 EUR per day. Regiotickets for buses, trams and regional train connections are split into tariff zones. Car rental costs from 235 EUR per week. Prices are all subject to change.
Driving directions. From Basel take the motorway and exit for Freiburg Mitte in the direction Stadtmitte via Werder Rotteck Ring and Leopoldring.
