Location.Corfu Chandris is a seafront hotel, with landscaped gardens and a private beach, overlooking the Bay of Dassia, a popular resort on the eastern coast of Corfu, 11 kilometres from Corfu Town. Corfu I Kapodistrias International Airport is 12 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features.Corfu Chandris features two large outdoor pools with loungers, sunshades and a poolside bar for refreshing drinks. There is a fully equipped fitness centre, and a spa offering massages, a sauna, a steam bath and outdoor spa tubs. The hotel's private, supervised beach is a short walk through the gardens and there is an on site gift shop and jewellers. Other amenities include a hair salon, free parking and a shuttle bus service to the city centre.
Dining options at Corfu Chandris include international cuisine in the buffet restaurant overlooking Dassia Bay, Greek specialties in the open air taverna, and snacks in the rustic beach bar with shaded patio.
The hotel also has an outdoor cinema, three tennis courts and water sports, such as waterskiing, windsurfing and jet skiing are available at the supervised private beach. For families with children there is a separate pool, a kids' club and supervised children's activities at the clubhouse and playground. Golfing is available five kilometres away.
Guestrooms. The beachfront bungalows and 213 guestrooms which are located on five floors, have simple, modern decor with pastel colours and wood furnishings. All offer furnished balconies or terraces with sea views, air conditioning, satellite television, dial up Internet connections, multi line phones and minibars.
Expert Tip.Dassia is popular for its water sports, and the lively tourist resort of Ipsos is a short walk along the coast. Corfu Town is 11 kilometres away, and features a number of historic attractions, including the citadel and the winding, cobble stoned streets.

Getting there.Taxis are available from the airport. The island has a bus service, but a hire car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel operates a shuttle bus to and from Corfu Town. Ferries to surrounding islands and boat excursions are available from the port.
