Location. The family run Hotel Pension Helios is housed in a traditional Hungarian building with red roof tiles and is located four kilometres from the centre of Budapest. Gelert Spa is four kilometres from the hotel and the historic Castle District is five kilometres away. Budapest Ferihegy Airport (BUD) is 25 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 50 minutes.
Hotel Features. The hotel has a well tended garden with a barbecue, a goldfish pond and a gazebo. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning and the public areas have wireless Internet access. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange and tour assistance. Practical amenities include complimentary parking and 24 hour room service.
Guestrooms. The 17 guestrooms over three floors have light decor, co ordinated fabrics and traditional furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones and wireless Internet access. Other amenities include coffee/tea and safes. Bathrooms have shower/tub combinations.
Expert Tip. Budapest is famous for its goulash but also look out for Racponty (fish stew), Paprikascsirke (paprika chicken) and roast goose.

Getting there. Take the Rept�r Busz bus service to K?b�nya Kispest and then take Metro line 3 to Ferenciek Tere. From there, take bus number 8 to Oltv�ny K�z. Lid�rc K�z is on the right; walk about 50 metres up it and take the first right which is Lid�rc Street. Helios Pension is at the end of the street. Taxis are available at the airport.
