The Grand Hotel di Como is a modern hotel set in 10,000 square meters of private parkland in the historic town of Como, two kilometers from the Swiss border. The guestrooms are decorated in warm colors with dark wood furnishings. All include Internet connections, satellite television, telephones, air conditioning, and minibars. Rooms come with marble bathrooms with hydro massage showers or tubs, telephones, hairdryers, and complimentary toiletries.

The hotel lies two kilometers from the 13th century palace of Broletto and is three kilometers away from the hi storic center of Como. Milan Malpensa Airport is 53 kilometers from the hote l. Malpensa Express trains run from Terminal 1 to Milano Cadorna Station (journ ey time: 40 minutes), in the centre of Milan. From here catch a train to Sar onno where you can change to San Giovanni railway station in Como. Taxis are also available from outside Arrivals at both terminals. The Hotel has its o wn helicopter landing strip. It is possible to book transfers to the airport , as well as private flights.
