The Hotel Como is a modern hotel with blue and white entrance portico, 400 meters from the pedestrianized center of Como and 1.5 kilometers from the lake. The 76 guestrooms feature modern white d�cor with wood furnishings and parquet floors. All rooms have air conditioning, cable television, safes and minibars.
Regional and international dishes and a selection of wines are served in the relaxed setting of the Pavone Restaurant which has a simple white d�cor and light wood furnishings. During the summer months, grilled meat and fish dishes are served in the Roof Garden Restaurant. The roof garden also has an open air swimming pool and poolside bar for aperitifs or snacks. The three conference rooms feature light wood paneling and audio visual facilities for hosting business seminars and workshops for up to 75 participants. Guests can browse complimentary newspapers in the hotel lobby, or use wireless Internet access to plan a day's sightseeing. For a fun way to explore the area, bicycles are available for rent at the front desk. Tennis and golfing facilities are accessible within five kilometers of the hotel. For sightseers, the remarkable Cathedral and the Broletto a 13th century communal palace are both 1.5 kilometers from the hotel. For children, Swissminiatur a 1/25 scale reproduction of the main features of each Swiss canton which sits over nearly one hectare of parkland along the lake is worth a visit, and is 20 kilometers away. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is 50 kilometers from the hotel. A Ferrovie Nord rail connection goes directly from the airport to Como. Change at Saronno for Como Borghi, which is 200 meters from the hotel.
