Location. The Park Hotel is located in Nottingham, England, opposite the Arboretum Park, 500 metres from the Lace Market and shops of the city centre, and 500 metres from Nottingham Trent University and the site of the Goose Fair. Nottingham railway station is two miles away, and East Midlands Airport is 13 miles distance.
Hotel Features. A detached building set in gardens, the Park Hotel has views over the Arboretum Park, while inside floral carpets contrast with cream walls and wooden fittings. There is wireless Internet in public areas, and the hotel provides a number of on street parking permits to guests.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and serves full English breakfast for a surcharge. The bar serves drinks and snacks till late.
Conferences of up to 50 people can be catered at the Park Hotel.
There are 10 leisure centres, with facilities including swimming and tennis, in Nottingham. Wollaton Park with deer grazing and an 18 hole golf course is two miles away.
Guestrooms. The 26 guestrooms are furnished in creams and reds with dark wood furniture. Each has an LCD television with Freeview, wireless Internet, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and a direct dial telephone.
Expert Tip. The Arboretum Park hosts small festivals in May and June. In October one of Europe's most famous travelling fairs, the Goose Fair, descends on Nottingham. It features over 500 attractions and serves local specialities such as mushy peas and mint sauce.

Distance to Park Hotel is 13 miles, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. There is a taxi desk across from the information desk inside the terminal building. Fares are approximately 17 GBP to Loughborough, 24 GBP to Derby, 26 GBP to Nottingham and 33 GBP to Leicester. The Skylink bus runs from the airport to the city centre and Nottingham train station. Buses leave every 30 minutes and cost 5 GBP for a single ticket. Coaches run to Derby, Leicester, Leeds, Loughborough, Sheffield, Bradford and Coventry. Taxis direct from airport to hotel cost around 20 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Nottingham is served by a cheap and efficient tram network. A one day tram ticket costs 2.20 GBP and offers unlimited travel. An extensive bus network runs throughout Greater Nottingham. Cycling is popular for exploring the city and there are many cycle lanes in the city centre. Buses and trains run to other locations in the East Midlands. Prices are all subject to change.
Driving directions. From the M1 motorway, take Junction 25 and the A52 Derby Road towards the City Centre.
On approaching Canning Circus junction take the third turning left onto Talbot Street, also signed to Nottingham Trent University.
Turn left at the lights onto Clarendon Street.
Turn left again onto Waverley Street, where the Park Hotel is on the left.
