Location. The Days Inn Oxford is a low rise modern hotel located seven miles from the centre of Oxford on the A40 ring road, and four miles from Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Luton Airport is 33 miles away; Heathrow 40 miles.
Hotel Features. This hotel's location on a motorway service station means that guest have full access to the facilities there including 24 hour garage, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk with a safe deposit box, a continental breakfast is available each morning for a charge and ATM banking is on offer. Getting there. From Luton Airport, the best way to reach hotel from the airport is by taxi. Buses run from Heathrow Airport to Oxford bus station, 200 metres from the hotel. A single ticket costs approximately 14 GBP for adults, 7 GBP for children. A taxi costs around GBP 100. All prices are subject to change.
Getting around: Oxford has an efficient bus service; the city centre is compact and best explored on foot. Oxford's roads are notoriously congested and parking spaces are at a premium. The best way to see the surrounding countryside is to hire a car.
Driving directions. The hotel is located at Junction 8A of the M40; follow signs to Welcome Break Services.
